A series of monographic walks for seniors devoted to selected streets of Jewish Warsaw “These and those streets”

Where in Warsaw was the ghetto located? Which streets were included in it? Why were some excluded? From the hustle and bustle of today’s Warsaw, we will pick out the voices and stories of the people who lived on “those” streets during the occupation. Their lives went on behind walls of which there are hardly any traces left. During our walks we will look together for remnants of the past: sometimes for scraps of cobblestones, sometimes for remnants of tenement houses, sometimes for bricks buried in the ground. We will also look at old photographs and maps. We will check what they say about the history of these streets and their inhabitants.

Meeting point – in the POLIN Museum (main hall).
